About

Languages, literature, theatre and psychology.

A professional path built over time, across translation, literature, theatre training and the study of human experience.

Languages

Language training

I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures, with German, English and French, and built my professional path around languages, cultures and texts. I lived and worked for ten years in Austria and three years in France.

Translation

Twenty years running a multilingual agency

I have worked as a translator for twenty-five years. For twenty years I ran a multilingual translation agency, an experience that allowed me to follow projects, collaborations and texts in several languages and to gain first-hand knowledge of every aspect of linguistic and publishing work.

Books and audiovisual work

Translation, literature and subtitling

I have translated around thirty books and, for five years, worked as a subtitler of films and documentaries. Literature and audiovisual language have accompanied and enriched my work with texts.

Theatre

Theatre training and work with people

Alongside my language training, I developed a background in theatre. Today I lead drama-therapy workshops in rehabilitation communities, an experience that brings together expression, listening and attention to the human dimension.

Interpreting

German–Italian and Italian–German interpreting

I have worked as an interpreter in medical, technical and legal settings, between German and Italian, in specialised contexts requiring terminological precision and attention to the communication situation.

Teaching

Languages and educational support

For twenty years I have taught Italian to German-speaking learners and German to Italian and French students. I have also worked in educational support and specialist language teaching in medical, business and technical fields.

Psychology

A second field of study

I completed a degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques, broadening my interest in psychology, behaviour and inner processes. This path naturally connects with my interest in literature, theatre and stories about people.

Today

A path between languages, theatre and psychology

Today I continue to work in translation and publishing projects, bringing together complementary experiences: languages, literature, theatre, psychology and many years of professional work in communication.

The common thread

Words, stories and people.

To translate means to listen to a voice and give it back in another language. Theatre brings body and relationship into play. Psychology adds a perspective on inner processes and behaviour. My projects grow from the meeting of these experiences.
